At Mount Peter Early Learning, our Kindergarten program is designed to spark curiosity and a love for learning in our little people. It’s such a big chapter for them as they prepare to set off in the big wide world of primary education. We believe that mixing play and exploration while learning helps little ones thrive with the transition. We aim to build their social, emotional and early literacy skills while appreciating the wonders of nature through our Forest School. Each day spent with us is an adventure that prepares your child for the exciting journey to primary school.

Forest School at Mount Peter: Nature-Based Learning for Curious Minds
Our Forest School program encourages learning through nature. Children explore, play, and connect with the environment. Outdoor activities help build problem-solving skills, resilience, and a love for nature.
With hands-on experiences, children climb, dig, and discover. They also develop important social and emotional skills in a safe and nurturing space. Bush Kinder is the perfect way for your child to embrace the outdoors and grow with confidence.

“I highly recommend My Peter Early Learning. All my children have attended there and I have found the team to be very friendly and professional. The educators are invested in the children and the kindy program is great and provides so many opportunities for enriched learning experiences. The facilities are also lovely with a lovely large outdoor area with shade and space for activities year round. I should also mention because the facilities are so nice and it is a breezy location I’ve had less issues with children returning home with mosquito bites!”

My daughter especially loves sliding down mud hills and frequently talks about the kindness she encounters there. It’s clear that the centre fosters a supportive and engaging environment. Highly recommended for parents looking for a nurturing and nature-focused learning experience for their child.”

“Thank you for giving this amazing gift to these beautiful children. The Kindy experience is something they will never forget. I know my Grandson Mason loves his time at Regis Aged Care where they visit our beautiful elderly, spending time with them, doing activities, have morning tea, while learning kindness and compassion and then the Bush Kindy! How amazing, back to basics old school learning from the out doors. Climbing and exploring all while learning about the environment and being a team. I worked in early childhood for many years and can honestly say, Jenni and her team are amazing and the absolute best. Congratulations on giving our next generation the the most incredible start to their big School years and the gift of kindness.”
